The Arad post spotlight - DFO Lore the Apostles Part 2

Apostles Lore part 2

In this post , We will bring into argument why I think Scirocco of Intangible , more commonly known
as the one apostle who has the power to change all of her sorroundings, This even includes faces of other beings as well.

Let's go back to the part of the lore that mentions that Scirrocco was transferred to screaming cavern.
Naturally, one would think that a cavern such as this is most likely a dark, damp, and somewhat cold.

This would also make sense to the fact that since this apostle prefers warm areas, A place like the screaming cavern of the nugols would make her go absolutely ballistic.

According the rest of the DFO lore, Scirrocco was near to impossble to defeat, That is until the female bezerker Roxy , The only dark elf in all of existince to be in such a fighting class, Whereas
She released her ghost arm combined with a forbidden blood spell of cain, Thus she defeated Scrirrocco, but with great consequences.

Once Scrirrocco defeated, a great energy was released, and brought about what many to believe to be the devolution,  that to this day still continues to create monsters from humans.

Now here is the part where I believe this to be where Scrirrocco isn't really dead, more like- Her energy has been spread out into a larger area, where it contiues to change everything unpredictably around Arad.

There is also mention that Scirrrocco is the one that holds "thousands of faces",  Could this mean that somehow , The apostles is still among us, Watching from afar?
If so, then this is by far one the greatest schemes from the Apostle Hilder ever to plot against Hendon-Myre and it's surrounding areas.

If Scirrocco still is amongst us, Who could she be? Could she be Iris Fortunesinger?
Its really something to think about.

    DFOG's IST Birthday

Dungeon Fighter Online Global has come a long way since it's Re-introduction.
Originally, Neoples struggled with the fact that the Old DFO client was extremely
Outdated, As much as the DOFG die hards loved that original version, It was
In dire need of some serious repairs.

THE TASK AT HAND

Neoples did the unthinkable, they rolled up their sleeves and got to work,
Aiming to open DFOG's doors to all awaiting anxious adventurers.
Along the way, the single most troublesome problem was the Gold sellers
And the pesky hackers, this time around Neoples front and center at the helm
Would finally put and end to those cheaters / Gold bot sellers.

DFOG NOW ON PAR WITH DNF

DFOG is now on par with its Korean Counterpart, DNF.
Although in my opinion DOFG is Completely and Utterly better that it's Korean
Protoge, DFOG at this point Surpasses DNF in every single way.

EVENTS A PLENTY

What is the single most thing that keeps players coming back for more?
Events, and more and more events still.
Some players would disagree that this type of content is just "Garbage", As they
Put it, Can you honestly say tha there is another MMO of similar calibur that
Would do such a thing for the its loyal gamers? -

REMENISCENT SOUNDS OF THE GLORY DAYS

Additionally, Adeventurers can relish in delight of sounds and bgms from the original DFO NA
Version, That has many in a state of complete Nostalgia, Even with New content that allows
Dungeon Fighters to Visit Arad as it was Before  the great metastasis, it almost feel like Home.

EXPECT GREATER THINGS FROM NEOPLES

Sure, there are still those who completely despise DFO, and would rather see it's Demise.
As long as Neoples Runs the show, that thought will never come to fruition.
I say, If you hate the game that much, then move aside and make way for those who love it.

The Arad Post Spotlight - The Apostles Lore Part 1

DFO LORE : The Apostles P 1

Everyone has or has had the chance to , At some point , Gain a bit of backstory to the game
Dungeon Fighter Online , Which takes place in Arad, principality of Hendon-Myre.
As it all began several different classes of Dungeon Fighters come to thwart the evil that plagues Arad.
HOW IT ALL STARTED:
In another time and space, there existed a planet known as "PANDEMONIUM"  in this once Peaceful planet existed several powerful beings that came to be known as the APOSTLES.

CAIN Prey Scirroco Anton Luke Micheal Ozma
HILDER Kasijas Delieze Lotus Bakal 11th 13th

Cain the fatality

AKA- the one who fears death
Cain.png
The strongest Apostle of all, Cain is the king of Pandemonium. No one dares to stand against him. No traps or magic can overcome his absolute strength and vitality. Even though he is the strongest being in all of Pandemonium, he has no interest in invading the surrounding areas around Union Square, where he resides.

Crying Eyes Hilder
Hilder.png
Unable to forget what happened to her beautiful homeland and her family, Hilder is considered to be the first being to use the forces of Nature to create magic. She holds all knowledge of Pandemonium's history and endeavors to rebuild Pandemonium to its original state. She has the power to stay out of harm's way and possesses telepathy, which is why she takes on the deed to unite Pandemonium's residents and prevent conflict. Although she has weaker fighting abilities than most of the other Apostles, due to the above traits, the people of Pandemonium still consider her as the Second Apostle.

Prey in the Blue sky
Isis.png

Also known as The One Who Will Never Set His Feet On The Land.

Isis originally lived in a place that was ruled by a race that soars the skies. Due to the odd changes to his world, he flew to a height no others in his world could, and while scouting the azure skies, he discovered the existence of Pandemonium. There, he found Cain and during the fierce battle between the two, Pandemonium drifted away from his home. Thus, Isis became a resident of Pandemonium.

Fun fact: In the Korean version, Isis' true name is, in fact, Prey - Isis in the Blue Sky.

Kasijas The Conqueror
Kasijas.png
Also known as The One Who Covers Steel With Blood.

Belonging to a race which battle is the meaning of life, Kasijas arrived at Pandemonium trying to find stronger opponents after defeating all others on his planet. He fought every Apostle he could find in Pandemonium (excluding Lotus and Isis) and found that he could barely defeat his opponents. Furthermore, upon fighting Cain, Kasijas lost to his overwhelming powers and now fears him a lot. Whenever Pandemonium clings on to another world, he eagerly seeks opponents to battle with. He is about 1.5 times bigger than a regular human being and wields two swords. From his battle experience, he can be seen as one of the strongest creatures that ever existed. Upon hearing that there are powerful creatures in the Land of Arad, he made a contract with Summoner and is ready to be summoned to the Land of Arad, looking for a good challenge and become much stronger to defeat Cain one day. His summoned self is said to be much weaker (extremely) than his original self, though.

Scirocco of Intagible:
Siroco.png
Also known as The One Who Possesses Hundreds Of Faces, Yet Is Invisible.

The first of the Apostles to be transferred to Arad. In fact, it's because of her that many of the major events in Arad have come to fruition. Wherever her powers arrive, the world will change. She holds the power to change the world around her. She can only freely move around warm areas, so she resides in the Metro Center in Pandemonium. Because of this, she often fights Anton for energy.

However, when she was transferred to Arad, arriving in the Screaming Cavern, she went insane. She nearly wiped out the Nugols living in the cavern and created an unstable environment. Eventually, the Empire sent its best soldiers, including the four Legendary Weapon Masters, to investigate the place. Unfortunately, most of the investigation party succumbed to Sirocco's overwhelming power, and Roxy, a Dark Elf Beserker, unleashed the full power of Kazan's Blood Curse to put an end to Sirocco once and for all. However, this act ended up costing Roxy her life in the process...

Delieze the plauge
Diregie.png
Also known as The One Who Spills Dirty Blood.

The source of all diseases, Delezie has the power to turn living things into dust. It is also known as the only immortal Apostle ever, that even Dungeon Fighters aren't able to kill it completely. It was rejected by the residents of Pandemonium after spreading the flu and the Black Death and chased away by other Apostles, ending up residing in the north area of Bronx. He avoids picking fights with the Apostles, unless his life is on the line. Delezie is another one of the Apostles that was transferred to Arad. It appeared in North Myre, literally turning the place into a living hell.

A portion of Delezie's power also appeared in Noire Ferra, ruining the Dark Elf city and transforming much of Aphelia into monsters, cursed by Delezie's Plague. There, a phantasm of Delezie materialized, causing much torment and destruction before eventually being defeated by adventurers.

Delezie met its end in Reshpon, Village of Pain, after being defeated by heroes wielding the divine protection of Hilder. Delezie was cast into an Interdimensional Rift and thrown into a space vacuum, utterly annihilating him.

Flame Eater Anton
Anton.png

Also known as The One Who Can Reach The End Of The World By Stretching His Body.

The largest Apostle in Pandemonium, Anton's body is large enough to cover a whole area in Pandemonium. Just before his world was destroyed, he used all of his power to pull himself onto Pandemonium, which had appeared around his world when it was destroyed. He resides in Metro Center and consumes the energy that is generated every once a while. Whenever he falls asleep, Pandemonium will glow like it is on fire. This is the only time when people in the land of Empyrean can see Pandemonium, which the Empyreans call "the mirage of an upside down city."

Anton was later transferred to the land of Empyrean and went to the Power Station to continue his feast on energy. Because of Anton, the Kartels were able to obtain a major advantage over the forces in Ghent, due to the loss of power.

gangling Lotus
PortraitGangling Lotus.png
Also known as The One Who Can Carry Thousands of Weapons At Once.

Originally from an ocean world. Lotus was also transferred to Arad while hibernating, but landed on the Behemoth, startling it and sending it to the skies. From there, Lotus woke up to find himself in an unfamiliar place. After finding out where he was exactly, Lotus started to use his mind-control powers to take over the minds of the members of the GBL, who resided on Behemoth. What's very interesting is that Lotus managed to do all of this while being in an incredibly weakened state. When you eventually fight and defeat Lotus, he's only at ~10% of his true power.

Lotus met his end after the heroes overcame his forces and mind control abilites. With his parting words, he mentioned that his death had been foretold long time ago, including the death of his friend, Sirocco...

Luke the Constructor
Luke.png

Also known as The One Who Touches Earth Without A Word.

The current Ninth Apostle. Ever since his birth, Luke's blood drove him into a life of endless constructing. The Second Apostle, Hilder, witnessed his abilities and asked him to rebuild Pandemonium. The progress is slow because he is doing this job alone, though. He is currently rebuilding Metro Center that used to belong to Anton and trying to supply Pandemonium with constant energy. It is said that he was being pressured by Bakal 1000 years ago to build the City of Death for him, which connects the land of Pandemonium and the land of Empyrean, but the truth is, he built the place of his own free will.

While much about Luke still remains unknown, it was him who showed Bakal many events of the future, including the death of the Apostles, and what that entailed.

Dragon King Bakal
King Bakal.png

Also known as The One Who Breathes Fire.

The former Ninth Apostle, Bakal tried to take over the land of Empyrean. However, he was eventually defeated and killed.

Due to his wish to conquer the whole land of Pandemonium, Bakal was no longer considered an Apostle. Because of this, Bakal declared the Dragon War with his Dragonoid army to gain the Water of Life, which would make him immortal. However, he was fought off by the combined efforts of Hilder and the residents of Pandemonium. He then escaped to Empyrean using the City of Death that he had Luke made, and sealed away all means of getting to Empyrean from Arad, causing the Sky Tower to disappear. He also conquered Empyrean and forbade the use of magic, so the Empyreans wouldn't be able to defy him. He built a castle for himself and made an army out of the Soldiers of Light. Since magic was forbidden, the people developed high quality technology, especially machines. The Mechanics of Empyrean eventually defeated Bakal and his Army of Light, ending his reign of terror. Bakal's scream, before his death, split Empyrean into several pieces, many parts falling on Arad, around where North Myre is. Bakal's castle floated away from Empyrean and can sometimes be seen on a sunny day. It is currently known as the Floating Castle.

Later, it turns out that Bakal was merely acting on behalf of the living beings on Arad. After being shown visions of the future in which many of the Apostles and himself were to be slain and Arad would be sacrificed in order to restore Pandemonium, Bakal took it upon himself to take over Empyrean and make its inhabitants strong enough to prevent the eventual destruction. However, Bakal didn't count on Hilder sending heroes from 500 years in the future to come back in time and defeat him.

Bakal also had four sons: Ash Core, Numak, Itrenok and Neiser and created the the three legendary dragons, Skasa the Ice Dragon, Death Dragon Spirazzi, and Hismark.

Micheal of the Holy Eye:
Michael of the Holy Eye.png

Also known as The One Who Sees The Truth.

The Tenth Apostle. The creator of the Priest Class and the leader of the Order of the Holy Eye. He was a General in the battle known as the Black Crusade. Michael is also responsible for sealing away Ozma many years ago. Due to unknown reasons, Michel has the appearance of a young man despite being much older than he appears.

Michael currently holds guard over Ozma in Dark Side, unable to truly kill him. However, he stands ever present of the plans already set in motion, aware that Ozma's death could spell destruction for the rest of the world...

Eleventh apostle:

Also known as The One Who Knows All Secrets.

Currently unknown at this time. ( Seria Kirmin??)

Ozma of Chaos:
Ozma.png

Also known as The One Who Resurrected.

The Twelfth Apostle. Formerly a human wielder of magic, Ozma accepted evil powers from a Dark God and became the God of Chaos. With his powers, he brought much destruction and chaos to Arad before eventually being sealed by Michael in another dimension. It is because of Ozma that the Impostors were created and the Cosmos Demons descended to Arad. Ozma was also the one who cursed Kazan and brought about his Blood Curse, and was responsible for giving the Priest a grave curse, making the Priest become an Avenger. The same effect also took turn to Grandis's brother, Nilvas Gracia, who is a foe in Black Crusade.

Ozma was eventually defeated by heroes who had wandered into the Dark Side.
>

Thirteenth Apostle:

While the identity of the Thirteenth Apostle remains unknown, it is said that it is sleeping underground somewhere in Terra.

Now that we know all the apostles, what are there motives for intruding the land of Arad?

This my friends is part of a sinister plan that has been set in motion by someone so innocent?

But who can it be? Well find out more in Part 2.

"Without Audacity, There is no battle..."

Post Act 2 Season 1 Reborn

Much of the quests are still the same except for notable differences in dungeons.
Before the Update, It was a a bit redundant to finish quests, whereas you had to physically click
The icon corresponding to your quest.

After the new update, Quests are now streamlined, dissasembling weapons for cubes is also made easier.

The New Story:

Finding yourself in Behemoth, you meet the new leader of the order Ophellia Bagrans
Who welcomes you in your quest for the truth.
You seek answers, following the phenomena of the black nightmare you believe to be the culprit
behind all of Behemoth's troubles.

Ophellia reassures you that all is well, Many of her own followers of the GBL lost their own lives
To ensure certain magical seals were in place, But you believe otherwise.
With the aide of Vaughn ,One of the legendary swordmans from the old screaming cavern,
Leaves you with Aganzo as you first gather enough proof to show Ophellia that all is not well.
Eventually, Ophellia finally admits her mistake, She realizes that it's not the phenomena of the black
Nightmare, But the mind influence of Apostle Lotus himself.

Even the Whale Behemoth was trembling more and more , to many what seemed as earthquakes.
It was clear that Behemoth was resisting the Apostle lotus, but for how long?

Eventhough sky tower is now shattered remants of what it used to be, Bakals Seal still is in tact
To prevent other from traveling into Empyrean.
File:Metastasis.jpg

Before the final showdown with Lotus, one of Vaughns companions goes missing.
Low ranking Lynn has sucumbed to Apostles mind attacks.
As you try and rescue her, Lotus Kills her, but at least you brought her back to Vaughn.
In a final Showdown you and the legendary swordmans finally kill Lotus.

Lotus last words to the swordman were : " Let me ask you this, Am I evil?, At least to you I am",
"You are no different than me." I almost felt sorry for Lotus, Almost.

A Little Bit more DFO Lore

DFO Lore-

There has been, At least since I have been able to play the DFO NA version,
Bit's and Pieces of the Games lore.

Originally, ( At least from what I understand), In the NA version, Started out with a quest to the Screaming cavern. There- Aganzo, Roxy, Bwanga made the trip, Once there-They encountered the Apostle Scirroco ( She has the power to change anything).

The only way to Subdue this menace , Roxy Unleashed her curse or Kazan, along with a Forbidden blood spell of Cain and was able to finally kill the apostle. Unfortunately in doing so, This also claimed the life of Roxy. This is were Aganzo finally had the courage to tell Roxy that he was in love with her, But it was too late. Aganzo then drowned his sorrows in seclusion in the moonlight tavern.

This is what started it all - An adventure that would span all fighting classes, each with it's own story of it's own. As you progressed to maximum level capacity, ( Which - at that time was level 70),
Near the end of game, It is clear that all of this had something to do with the meddling of the Empyrean empire and the Apostle Hilder.

Post Metastasis:

Following the troubles that plauged Arad already, Hilder , ( In my opinion is the gran manipulator), and the Remaining Apostles sensed the awakening of a powerful God, Whom they combatted once before and defeated him. ( Hilder was actually worried that they might not have enough power to subdue this God once more.) This God's Power's were scattered in bits and pieces across time and space in the form of memories. One of those pieces was in Saint Horn, Where upon reclaiming his lost memory Unleashed tremendous power that ravaged Arad, in its wake, Underfoot that was once underground, was now above ground and vice versa. Most of Hendon Myre was destroyed, Although Sky skyscastle was now known as the inverted waterfall, Yet Bakal's Oringinal Seal To prevent Trespassers from traveling to  Empyrean Remained.

The troubles in Ghent, City of GOD:

Many of the bits and pieces that originally was in Ghent still remain, Except for some new clarification on the kartels.
One of those is lore about the Silver Spoon Circus, These performers were a bunch or poor
Diseased mifits that barely survived on entertaining others. Often the perfomers fought of thieves that would steal what little they had. Which is why they are short in stature, most of them suffered from Illness and poor nutrition.

To Survive, The Martel brothers from the Circus cut a deal with the kartels, Not only putting a contract on paper , But one of the martel brothers as a garauntee, Sacrificed one of his eyes, in its place, He wears a modified Monocle.

The Martel Brothers realized that it was a mistake to Join with the kartels, but betrayel would only mean death.

SO- Who could be behind all this? Why is it so important to destroy Arad?
